About

Get your students’ adrenaline pumping as we kick the day off with billy cart races by the bay! After this team building exercise in Cronulla’s Gunnamatta Park, students will embark on a breathtaking ferry ride to the cosy coastal town of Bundeena. Enjoy dolphin spotting in the Port Hacking’s crystal clear bay, before a picnic lunch in a lush bush reserve. Students will spend the day bug catching, dip-net fishing and competing in sand sculpting activities. If this isn’t exciting enough, the day will conclude with a visit to the local ice creamery for a gelato treat before the scenic ferry ride back home.

Day Outline

Arrival / Morning Tea / Toilet Break
(approx. 20 minutes)
Introductory Presentation The day kicks off with a meet and greet with our enthusiastic Rangers at Gunamatta Park for in Cronulla where they will enjoy a quick and engaging presentation.
(approx. 15 minutes)
Grouping: Students are divided into their groups of approximately x 30 students and are allocated a Ranger guide for each activity.
Activity 1 Billy cart races + Rocket team building races. Approximately 60 minutes.
Activity 2 11:30am ferry from Cronulla arriving in Bundeena for 12pm. Approximately 30 minutes.
Lunch / Toilet Break at Bundeena Beach Reserve
(approx. 25 minutes)
Activity 3 Sand castle team competition. Approximately 30 minutes.
Activity 4 Minibeast bug catching with camouflage face paint. Approximately 30 minutes.
Activity 5 Ice Cream gelato treat in Bundeena. Approximately 30 minutes.
Activity 6 2:00pm Ferry departing Bundeena arriving back to Cronulla for 2:30pm. Approximately 30 minutes.
