Get your students out in the fresh air and into the sunshine with all that the great outdoors has to offer on this action packed, fun fuelled Nature Hike and Fishing Adventure!
Commencing in the world famous Royal National Park, students will experience breathtaking views from stunning lookouts, learn new and exciting facts along a scenic bushwalking trail, find a secret cave, go bug catching, have lunch by the water in the picturesque surrounds of the Port Hacking River and discover secret fishing spots as they try their hand at catching the fish of the day!
This nature adventure will have your students experiencing and learning about pristine bushland and waterways and how they can protect them, whilst having an absolute ball! An exciting outdoor experience that your students will be talking about for a long time to come!

Introductory Presentation | The day kicks off with a meet and greet with our enthusiastic Rangers before enjoying an interactive and engaging presentation. (approx. 25 minutes) |
Grouping: Students are divided into their groups of approximately x 30 students and are allocated a Ranger guide for each activity. | |
Activity 1 | Guided Walk to Bungoona Lookout approximately 30 minutes. |
Activity 2 | Guided Walk down the Honeymoon Track approximately 45 minutes. |
Lunch / Toilet Break (approx. 25 minutes) |

Activity 4 | Bug Catching approximately 30 minutes. |

Activities
Ranger Jamie Tours have carefully selected the following activities for your students to enjoy on the day.
- Students will enjoy an interactive introduction presentation about native animals up close, examining museum grade taxidermy specimens.
- Walk to the breathtaking Bungoona lookout over the Port Hacking River
- Guided walk along Honeymoon Track with interesting stops along the way looking at hidden rock caves, bush food and perhaps even spot a wallaby or two
- Mini beast bug catching with camouflage face painting
- Fishing in Port Hacking River
