FAQs

What happens if it is forecast for rain on my excursion date?

The Ranger Jamie team will be in contact with you if your excursion day looks like it may be affected due to rain. We consistently reference the Bureau of Meteorology leading up to your excursion date. We recommend going ahead with your booking if only light rain is forecast (less than 1-2mm of rain), however students are encouraged to bring their own raincoat. If heavy showers or extreme conditions are forecast, we will happily work with you to postpone and rebook a new date for your excursion at no extra cost.

We accept rescheduling up until 5:30pm the day before your scheduled excursion without penalty. Contact must be made by phone and confirmed in writing by 5:30pm, otherwise charges will apply.

If we do not hear from you in regards to postponing, it will be assumed the excursion is going ahead as scheduled.
