About Anti Bullying Campaign at Symbio Wildlife Park

Explore the themes of inclusion and respectful relationships on this engaging and insightful excursion at Symbio Wildlife Park. Let us address the issue of bullying in a non-threatening and interactive way, while promoting and highlighting the importance of respectful relationships for all living things. Through interactive presentations with animals and two guided walks through various animal enclosures, students will observe and analyse the effects of actions that enhance or disrupt relationships using animals to highlight these themes. They’ll learn to recognise and describe the qualities that enhance inclusive and respectful relationships, and evaluate the impact of these behaviours on themselves and others. They’ll get to know each other as well as our animal friends and communicate ways to be caring, inclusive and respectful of others. Students will learn the importance of being inclusive and discover how their own uniqueness shapes who they are. Students will discuss how empathy, inclusion and respect are important in their relationships and how their own actions can impact themselves and others, and positively influence relationships. By the end of the day they’ll have interacted empathetically with people and animals alike and will be able to select interpersonal skills to to promote inclusion and build connections. Let us provide your students with a memorable and engaging learning experience with a fresh, new perspective of these important and universal issues.
