About

Start the day at a picturesque and untouched beach with sand between your toes, before experiencing Sydney’s only rainforest! Australia’s coastal rainforests are some of the most scenic and ecologically diverse habitats the world has to offer. Join our experienced Rangers as they immerse students within a range of natural settings. From hugging some of Australia’s tallest trees surrounded by pristine vegetation, to freshwater fishing and bug-catching beside untouched creeks within a platypus reserve – your students will never forget this jam packed, exciting adventure in the rainforest!

Students will discover the importance of natural environments and recognise how humans have dramatically altered these precious ecosystems. Using provided temperature gauges and anemometers, students will become scientists for the day and record and compare the geographical data of these environments. What better way to learn about Australia’s amazing plants and animals than an exciting, action packed adventure day amongst nature!

Arrival / Morning Tea / Toilet Break

Introductory Presentation The day kicks off with a meet and greet with our enthusiastic Rangers before enjoying an interactive and engaging presentation.
(approx. 25 minutes)
Grouping: Students are divided into their groups of approximately x 30 students and are allocated a Ranger guide for each activity.
Activity 1 Students participate in each activity for approximately 30 minutes.
Activity 2 Students participate in each activity for approximately 30 minutes.
Lunch / Toilet Break

Activity 3 Students participate in each activity for approximately 30 minutes.
