About
On this action-packed day, students will pick and taste REAL bush tucker, discover bush medicine, throw a boomerang, make their very own spears, have their face painted with traditional ochre clay and play some ‘deadly’ fun games – all the while gaining a wealth of knowledge through an immersive and authentic experience of rich Aboriginal culture.

Introductory Presentation | The day kicks off with a meet and greet with the enthusiastic Gumaraa rangers before enjoying an interactive and engaging presentation. (approx. 25 minutes) |
Grouping: Students are divided into their groups of approximately x 30 students and are allocated a Gumaraa ranger for each activity. | |
Activity 1 | Students participate in each activity for approximately 30 minutes. |
Activity 2 | Students participate in each activity for approximately 30 minutes. |
Lunch / Toilet Break (approx. 25 minutes) |

Activities
For each excursion booking, the Gumaraa Rangers will carefully select 4 of the following activities for your students to enjoy on the day. These activities are subject to the excursion location.
- Students will enjoy an interactive introduction presentation where students will examine Aboriginal artefacts.
