Experience an incredible opportunity with our Business Studies program for Years 9-12 at the world-renowned Symbio Wildlife Park!
Students will embark on an engaging case study featuring a private presentation that delves into the inspiring history and success of Ranger Jamie Tours, providing valuable insights into effective business strategies. The excitement continues with a live animal presentation, where students can interact with pythons, alligators, and more, highlighting the significance of delivering an exceptional customer experience.
The program concludes with a guided tour of Symbio Wildlife Park, where students will explore the interdependence of key business functions, including human resources, marketing, finances, and operations. This unique learning experience combines hands-on education with the wonder of wildlife, equipping students with practical knowledge and a deeper understanding of the business world- all whilst visiting cuddly koalas!

10:30am | Live animal demonstration: Kick off your adventure with a thrilling live animal demonstration, where you’ll touch pythons and alligators while learning about our partnership with Symbio Wildlife Park and customer service excellence! |
11:30am | Case Study Workshops (Guided Tour of Zoo). |
12:30pm | Lunch break: Gather for a delicious lunch break and take this opportunity to discuss the incredible experiences you’ve had so far! |
1:00pm | Free time in the park: Students will enjoy some well-deserved free time to explore the park at their own pace. Visit animal exhibits, feed wallabies and stroll through the beautiful grounds, while answering key questions in their work booklets. |
2:00pm | Depart Symbio (Bus): As the day comes to a close, board the bus and reflect on the amazing experiences and insights gained throughout the day! |

Case Study Workshop: In this interactive case study of Ranger Jamie Tours and Symbio, students will explore key business functions, while visiting highlights like red pandas, feeding wallabies, and observing monkeys, penguins, and more, to see how unique attractions drive business success.
Free Time in the Park: Students can independently observe Symbio’s operations, analysing customer service, layout, and merchandising to understand how businesses create successful, immersive experiences while answering questions in their booklets.
